The wedding of Jadie and Ollie was set to be spectacular, as we spoke throughout the planning process Jadie kept telling me this would be an alternative wedding and I was really excited to see it! They decided to get married in the beautiful setting of Italy with just the closest members of their friends and family before heading home for a big party with everyone.
Getting married abroad meant they could enjoy some time away with their friends and family both before and after the big day. Jadie chose a floor length wedding dress and Ollie was in a black suit but despite the more traditional clothing they mixed it up with a great range of accessories and decorations.
For the party back in the UK they chose a simple setting of the Three Horseshoes in Norton (website) and they decorated it in their alternative style including a projector with lots of photos of the big day in Italy. I loved the slide show, it transported everyone back to Italy and felt like it kept their magical day alive. One of my favourite pictures on the slideshow had Jadie and her 2 Dad’s walking her up the aisle – something Jadie drempt of but didn’t know if it would happen. Her Dad with his dreadlocks and studded boots and her step dad in his traditional Scottish kilt both look so proud and Jadie was in her element!
The venue was beautifully decorated with a real back to nature feel, with a white and hessian theme creating the back drop to a lovely personalised hessian bag for cards, beautiful pine cones, hand tied lavender and these cute wooden candle holders – I love the little heart windows in each one!
The first dance was in front of this beautiful fairy light cave which gave it so much atmosphere and kept the guests dancing all night to an eclectic mix of songs.
Our photo booth (Photo Buzz website) was the main entertainment which was thriving and capturing some amazing moments including Grandma in the booth, big family shots and the Bride & Groom having fun! We had an Autumn leaves theme to fit with the back to nature feel of the wedding and everyone loved it.
My favourite thing which I want to finish on was the gorgeous wedding cake. This for me embraced everything about this unique and wonderful couple and I loved the details including the unusual cake toppers to finish it off.
This wedding truly reflected Jadie & Ollie and I feel so lucky to have been a part of it! We had a fab night and I got lots of inspiration from their alternative style.
